Eligibility & Program Capacity
The program can currently support 10 students. UC Berkeley transfer students who have accepted the campus offer are eligible to apply. Acceptance to the CSD UP will be on a first come first serve basis. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as they have accepted the campus offer.
Matching Process
Students will be requested to rank their preference for 3 projects and will be assigned to the project that best meets their preference.
Program Expectations
Where the opportunity exists and the partnership (or collaboration) is a good match with the research group, the student may stay beyond the 8-week period and work for the entire year with the PI, for course credit.
